Last November 16th at 05:01am (UT), the SAC-C satellite had a total reset of all its subsystems and instruments, caused by a power bus voltage drop, of short duration, originated, presumably by an electrostatic discharge.
After the anomaly the satellite was received at the CONAE Ground Segment in Cordoba Argentina with all instruments on and working normally and with the nominal attitude. As a preventive action, some of the instruments were turned off and a detailed monitoring of the health of the satellite started.
Since Tuesday 19th, the satellite is in an stable condition and after the conclusion of the satellite health verification will be commanded to restart normal mission operations.
We have to thank very much the NASA Ground Network support, that permited us to track the satellite via the high latitude ground stations and continue to support SAC-C during this phase of the mission.
